Built by a Bakersfield Kid Who Came Back to Build Something Better
I grew up in Bakersfield. Played my way through Bakersfield College where I earned All-Western State Conference South honors as a catcher. Transferred to Chico State. Then I went and played at the highest level I could — including with the Guerreros de Oaxaca in Mexico.
I saw what real development looks like — the structure, the intensity, the accountability. And I saw what was missing back home.
When I came back to Bakersfield, I coached at Bakersfield Christian High School for years. I watched talented kids plateau because they didn't have access to the kind of training that could actually move the needle. Travel ball gave them games but not development. Local coaches meant well but didn't have the tools or experience to get players to the next level.
So I built The Lab — the facility I wished existed when I was a 14-year-old kid in Bakersfield trying to figure out how to get better. High-level coaching, real data, structured development, and a standard that matches the level these players are trying to reach.
