We Built the Place We Wished We Had.

Kids in Bakersfield don't lack talent. They lack structure, a standard, and someone accountable for more than one hour a week. We built The Lab to be the one place in Bakersfield where your athlete can get everything he needs — under one roof, from one staff.

What Most Places Do
  • Sell hours in a cage
  • Fix the swing in front of them
  • Hand him drills and send him home
  • Nobody owns the outcome
What We Believe
  • Structure is what changes a player. He should know what he's working on and why, every time he walks in
  • We develop the whole player. Swing, arm, body, and how he thinks about the game
  • A kid should understand his own game. Clarity beats a longer drill list
  • We're accountable for all of it. One staff, one standard, one place

A kid should walk out of The Lab with clarity, not a new drill package.

Who We Help

We coach athletes from middle school through high school. What a kid needs in 6th grade isn't what he needs at 17, so we don't pretend it is. The standard doesn't change — where we start him does.

Grades 6–8

Middle School

Build it before he gets there.

He's building a swing right now whether anyone's directing it or not. The one he takes to high school tryouts is being built this year — the only question is whether anybody's building it on purpose.

High School

Earn the spot, then keep it.

He's competing for playing time, and for some of them, a look at the next level. Hitting, pitching, throwing, and strength on one plan, with one staff accountable for all of it.

Sample Lab player report — hitting metrics with honest benchmark tiers Sample Lab player report — batted balls plotted, expected stats, and a written mechanical breakdown

Every athlete gets a report like this — where he started, where he is, and what changes next.

We've Walked the Path He's On.

The Lab is run by coaches who reached the levels these kids are chasing. We know the mental and emotional side of competing for a spot, not just the physical. But we don't lead with our résumé — what matters is what we get out of the player in front of us.

If we are, we'll set a time for you both to come see it. If we're not, we'll say that.
